Vivace Fractional Microneedling RF

Vivace uses a combination of heat and needling to rebuild your body's natural collagen. This results in skin tightening, body tightening, stretch mark removal, and scar reduction. The Vivace system offers a threefold approach to skin rejuvenation: microneedling, radio frequency energy, and blue and red LED light.

What Can Vivace Treat?

  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles
  • Skin Laxity - droopiness around the jawline, neck or under the eyes
  • Skin Tone and Texture
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Scarring
  • Stretch Marks

How does Vivace Work?

Vivace's individual sterile micro-needles generate and transmits radio frequency energy through multiple levels of skin. The skin receives the controlled physical injury of a typical microneedling devices, plus the added effect of heat from the radio frequency energy. The dual effect through multiple layers of skin creates dramatic skin tightening and collagen production.

Vivace can be used on most skin types and colour, and on almost any area of the face or body.

The Vivace system offers a threefold approach to skin rejuvenation: microneedling, radiofrequency energy, and blue and red LED light.

Microneedling

Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy is a well known treatment in the aesthetic industry. It works by producing a wound healing response in the skin by creating controlled punctures to stimulate collagen production. The Vivace device applies sterile, superfine, gold-tipped microneedles to the skin, creating invisible channels that penetrate through multiple layers of skin and deep into the dermis. These channels remain open for four to six hours, during which time the body creates new collagen as a healing mechanism.

Radio Frequency (RF)

Radio frequency (RF) is one of the most innovative treatments for chronic wound healing and skin regeneration. Vivace delivers RF via microneedles, which are insulated, except for the very point. The electrodes within the microneedles deliver thermal energy generated by an oscillating electrical current deep into the dermis of the skin. RF energy has a lower frequency than lasers, which allows it to safely penetrate through the deeper layers of the skin. The heat induces the production of new collagen and elastin and encourages cell turnover.

Red And Blue LED

Red and blue light emitting diodes have been clinically documented to offer significant benefits for the skin. Red light assists in renewed collagen production and improves skin tone and texture. Blue light acts like an antibacterial agent and reduces acne.

The Vivace Treatment

After your skin is cleansed a topical local anaesthetic numbing agent is applied to ensure comfort. The applicator is then placed on the skin and the 36 insulated gold-tipped microneedles are driven by a robotic micro-motor at a pulse and depth determined by the practitioner; all while providing RF energy and LED light activation deep within the skin.

After the treatment has been completed the channels created by the microneedling results in fast absorption of any key serums or creams which may be applied to encourage faster healing.

Your skin may appear a little red after treatment, similar to a mild sunburn which will resolve over the next few hours.

A treatment with Vivace will take around 30 - 45 minutes to complete.

Recommended Treatment Protocol

Although results will be visible after your first treatment, most patients benefit from three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart for optimal results.
