Mini FX by InMode
Cellulite is a common skin concern, characterised by lumpy, dimpled skin. In fact, up to 90 percent of women will experience cellulite at some point in their life. Forming when fatty tissue within the skin pushes up against connective tissue, cellulite is often associated with skin laxity and stubborn fat. Unfortunately, these concerns are notoriously difficult to treat. This, however, is changing thanks to InMode’s Mini FX treatments, available at Inigo Cosmetic.
What is Mini FX?
Mini FX, developed by InMode, is a non-invasive treatment that delivers radiofrequency energy to improve blood circulation and disperse heat to the deep tissue of the skin. Ideal for small areas of the body, such as the face, neck, arms and knees, Mini FX works to minimise cellulite, reduce stubborn fat and firm the appearance of the skin.
Mini FX is specifically designed to treat those smaller, hard to reach areas, such as the:
Mini FX treatments work by breaking down fat cells and stimulating collagen production to firm the skin. You will begin to notice improvements in your skin's appearance following two or three treatments, which will only continue to gradually improve with time and additional treatments.
What To Expect
During your Mini FX treatment, your dermal therapist will move the treatment applicator across the skin, making stamp-like movements. This applicator lightly pulls small sections of the skin up in order to transfer radiofrequency energy through the skin and underlying fat. This causes the tissues to heat and contract, triggering a cellular breakdown. Once the targeted area has reached the right temperature, negative pressure suction and controlled energy pulses work together to smooth out stubborn fat pockets and reshape the body.
Mini FX treatments also work to trigger collagen and elastin production, which tightens and firms loose skin. In turn, this helps reduce the appearance of cellulite and improves fat loss results. With time, fat cells are removed through the body’s natural waste disposal mechanisms.
Most patients find Mini FX treatments to be quite comfortable. You may experience a deep warmth and a pulling sensation, however, this is normal and fades soon after treatment.
