As we age, we experience a number of changes in the face, such as volume loss, skin laxity and fine lines and wrinkles. This is only exacerbated by sun exposure, gravity, lifestyle choices and environmental factors. If you are looking for a solution that will restore your skin to a more youthful state, FaceTite treatments at Inigo can tighten and rejuvenate the skin without the need for surgery.

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is an advanced contouring solution developed by InMode. This minimally invasive treatment uses radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to contract skin and coagulate fat, working to tighten and lift facial tissues. FaceTite is an innovative development in facial aesthetics, working to close the gap between cosmetic injectables and a surgical facelift by providing dramatic, long-lasting results without the downtime or scarring you’d expect.

Treatment Areas

FaceTite is designed to address a number of cosmetic concerns that occur with age, such as:

  • Jowls
  • Face and neck laxity
  • Volume loss
  • Jawline
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Double chin

FaceTite Results

Unlike many other non-surgical treatments, you will begin to notice changes in your appearance immediately after treatment. Skin tightening will continue to improve over time, with full results appearing within five to eight weeks after treatment.

FaceTite treatments are capable of providing incredible results, with patients appearing five to seven years younger. Such results will last for around five years, after which you may require further cosmetic intervention.

What To Expect

FaceTite treatments use a combination of a specially designed cannula and electrode to concentrate energy in the target area. Through the use of dual wands, radiofrequency energy is delivered to both the internal and external tissues, optimising results.

Before your treatment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the skin, and, if needed, an oral sedation may be administered. A small access point is made for the internal probe to treat the skin beneath the surface. This incision is only a few centimetres long, will not require any stitches and should heal without any noticeable scarring.

Heat will then be delivered through the wand as it simultaneously passes above and beneath the skin. This encourages the skin to contract and fat to coagulate, resulting in a tighter, more contoured appearance. You can expect your treatment to take around an hour to complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I a candidate for FaceTite treatments?

If you have experienced noticeable signs of skin ageing, such as skin laxity and volume loss, however, are not yet ready for a surgical facelift, FaceTite may be the ideal solution for you. The best way to determine whether this treatment is right for you is to have a consultation at Inigo Cosmetic.

Should I have FaceTite or a surgical facelift?

FaceTite and a surgical facelift are both designed to transform the lower face, however, the two treatments are very different.

A surgical facelift is an invasive procedure that tightens and contours the face through large incisions. Excess skin and fat are surgically removed, and facial muscles are tightened to create dramatic, long-lasting results.

FaceTite, on the other hand, is far less invasive, only requiring small incisions to insert the dual probe. During treatment, radiofrequency energy is used to heat and tighten the skin. While FaceTite treatments carry fewer risks and have far less downtime, results will be more subtle.

The best way to determine which treatment is better suited to you is to book a consultation with Dr Chinsee at Inigo Cosmetic, who will examine your face and discuss your aesthetic concerns.

How many treatments will I need?

Unlike other non-surgical skin tightening treatments, you will only need to undergo one FaceTite treatment to achieve ideal results.

What is the recovery like for this treatment?

Following your FaceTite treatment, you will likely experience some swelling and tenderness. This may last for five to seven days and can be managed using over the counter pain medications.

Patients can usually return to work within three to five days, depending on the treated area. Unlike a surgical facelift, it is generally safe to return to most physical activities after just a few days. You may be given a compression garment to wear for up to three days and then at night for a further seven days. You will be given specific aftercare instructions prior to treatment.
